What an awesome experience all of our Junior students had at the start of this week. They got to be part of a fun, interactive incursion which strengthened their understanding about the water cycle, how water travels through our pipes, water tension and much more.
All the kids in J10 & J11 worked in groups to research a life cycle. Well done to the kids who worked cooperatively and spoke clearly for the oral presentation.
We had lots of fun turning milk (a liquid) into ice-cream (a solid). All it took was some rock salt and ice and lots of shaking!!!!
J10 and J11 had lots of fun measuring the capacity of different containers using sand, water, pebbles and teddy bears.
So much fun celebrating our walk to school month as well as ride to school. Well done to all those who have made a big effort over the last month to walk or ride to school. Keep it up!
J2 did some reading and writing in the outdoor learning area. It was a little tricky with the wind but it was great to work in the sunshine.
J10 & J11 had snack with their buddies and then had the privilege of having Mrs Gray read them a poem.
